I remember this age like it was yesterday! It’s an exciting age, but also a scary one with many academic or career pressures showing up in ways you did not necessarily expect or prepare yourself for. This “launching” period can make you miss the simplicity and naiveté of your childhood.
Young adults, whether in or out of school, are often affected by many stressors. When in school, you have a great deal of academic responsibilities. When out in the work force, you are still establishing yourself.
Maybe you are both a student and working at the same time? Maybe you are stuck and don’t know which way to go? Either way, family and financial responsibilities keep piling up.
I truly enjoy guiding young adults in figuring out needs, wants, and desires for education, jobs, lifestyle, relationships, and other aspects of adulthood.
“You have plenty of courage, I am sure. All you need is confidence in yourself. There is not a living thing that is not afraid when it faces danger. The true courage is in facing danger when you are afraid, and that kind of courage you have in plenty.” ~ Quote by L. Frank Baum, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz
